The National Institute of Technology, Trichy has been a beacon of excellence since its founding in the early 1960s, nurturing a diverse community of students from across the country and delivering top-tier education. Founded by students in 2005, Pragyan, the International Techno-Management Festival of NIT Trichy, began as a platform to foster innovation and growth among young minds. This year’s Pragyan falls no short of its previous exalted editions. The theme was unveiled as Panoptica: Break the Code.

As the event unfolds on the 20th-23rd of February 2025, attendees will navigate a world where breaking the code signifies technical mastery and a deeper understanding of the digital landscape—one that was once confined to science fiction but is now a reality. The fest's inauguration ceremony, which will take place on the 20th of February, is to be graced with the esteemed presence of Dr Anuthambi, Head Of Strategy and Incubation, Larsen & Toubro as its chief guest. This does not signify the official commencement of Pragyan's events as their outreach events like Techids and The Pragyan ’25 Hackathon provided grounds for fostering a spirit of education and innovation among the youth way back in October 2024 and January 2025 respectively. Pragyan ’25 will be featuring seven dynamic event clusters—Roborex, Innovix, Pandora’s Box, Pixelette, Manigma, Bytehoc, and Phronesis. These clusters span a diverse range of domains, from design to management, and have collectively attracted over 5,000 registrations, both online and offline, marking a significant milestone. Some of Pragyan’s crowd favourites are events like Robowars, a robot fighting competition, Crossfire, Pragyan’s signature panel discussion, a diverse lineup of workshops and guest lectures, and Pragyan’s two flagship technical contests, Sangam and Ingenium. Along with that, Pragyan’s Infotainment shows never fail to captivate audiences, delivering a perfect blend of entertainment and artistry. This year’s lineup promises an unforgettable experience with a diverse range of performances ranging from the Stilt Powerbocking, Cyr Wheel, the Sand and Light Art show, The Tron Dance performance, Shadow Art, Ventriloquism, Illusionist acts, and a soulful evening with Mysore Express and Antara Mitra. From cutting-edge technology to thought-provoking discussions and mesmerizing performances, Pragyan ’25 will restore the fest’s glory to its fullest, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all. As the festival unfolds, it will reaffirm its legacy as a premier techno-management spectacle, inspiring and empowering minds across the globe.
